Job summary

Kokosing is hiring Carpenters for heavy highway and bridge projects in Northern VA/DC/MD area and Wallops Island, VA. The Carpenter will perform form work for bridges/structures, read blueprints, and work with hand/tools. The role requires physical labor, adherence to safety, and use of fall protection.

Expected base pay range is $29-$34/hr; full benefits available. You will join a team that handles diverse construction tasks, including erecting forms, tying rebar, pouring concrete, and

Qualifications

• Carpenter Training Program or equivalent, or bridge form work experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings for materials and layouts.
• Experience with form work for bridges and structures.

Responsibilities

• Construct, erect, and repair bridge and roadway forms.
• Braces forms for concrete piers, footings and walls.
• Set up and align forms, chutes, and formwork supports.
• Use hand/power tools safely and efficiently.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders as needed.
