Job summary

Kokosing Construction is seeking carpenters with form work experience for bridges to operate in the Richmond, VA area. Construct, erect, and repair forms and structures, read blueprints, and use hand and power tools to prepare materials for concrete pours.

Qualified candidates will have a Carpenter Training Program or equivalent or bridge work experience, with the ability to climb, lift, and work with formwork in outdoor conditions. Competitive pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints, sketches, or bridge plans for material needs.
• Skilled in use of hand and power tools and measuring tools.
• Able to work with level and lay out forms for bridges or structures.

Responsibilities

• Constructs, erects, and repairs structures; forms for concrete piers, footings, and walls.
• Assembles cut and shaped materials and fastens with nails or glue.
• Sets up forms, erects scaffolding, and assists in pouring/finishing concrete.
