Job summary

Sanford Contractors is seeking a Bridge Foreman to lead bridge construction crews on projects. The role requires coordinating daily activities, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity while following project plans and specifications.

Responsibilities include training crew members, communicating resource needs to the Superintendent, and maintaining site organization. A strong background in bridge construction and OSHA-related certifications is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as a Bridge Foreman or skilled bridge crew leader.
• Thorough understanding of bridge construction methods, equipment, and NCDOT specifications.
• Ability to read and interpret plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example while maintaining professionalism, safety, quality, and productivity.
• Plan daily crew activities and allocate resources.
• Assign work and train/develop team members.
• Coordinate with inspectors and identify safety hazards.
• Coordinate absences and communicate plans to the Superintendent.
• Work hours as required to meet project requirements.
