Qualifications

• High school diploma or Associate’s degree in related field with up to four years of relevant work experience.
• Hands-on capabilities in mechanical, construction, and/or electronic trades.
• Ability to work independently and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Basic computer knowledge; MS Office, PDF editors, and CAD software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections and laboratory testing on bridge structures as assigned.
• Assist in fabrication and retrofit of structural components and install instrumentation and data acquisition equipment.
• Perform corrosion assessments, select testing methods, and document results per project requirements.
• Calibrate and maintain field and lab testing equipment; ensure safety and QA compliance.
• Travel to job sites nationwide up to 40% of the time and work under supervision.
