Job summary

Qualifications

Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form.
Four years of full-time civil engineering experience.
NY State Professional Engineer license required and active for duration of employment.

Responsibilities

Monitor off-site inspection for acceptance and verification during fabrication of structural steel and bridge components.
Oversee inspection agencies during inspections and review shop drawings, design drawings, weld procedures, fabrication and repair procedures.
Evaluate non-destructive testing procedures and results in accordance with AWS, NYSSCM, NYSPCCM, ASME and ASTM.
Travel to fabrication plants located in the U.S. and Canada as needed.
