Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Bridge Engineer/Assistant Project Manager to lead design and plan development for bridge projects, and to perform structural analysis for highway, railroad, and bike/ped structures. The role includes bridge inspections and load rating duties, with opportunities to provide technical leadership across a team of professionals.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis; M.S. a plus.
• EIT required, ability to obtain PE.
• 5-10 years’ experience in the design of structures preferred.
• ADOT project experience is a plus.
• Strong technical skills relevant to bridge/structural design and analysis.
• Knowledge of roadway drafting and design software such as Bentley MicroStation, Bentley OpenRoads Designer, and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred.
• Ability to design and produce various PS&E in a team setting.
• Detail-oriented, professional attitude, good communication, self-starter.
• Strong work ethic, interpersonal communication/writing skills, and a desire to learn.
