Job summary

TREKK Design Group, LLC is seeking a Professional Engineer to lead transportation and structural projects in Missouri. You will perform engineering analysis, design and plan production for bridges, roadways and stormwater infrastructure, ensuring quality, budget adherence and on-schedule delivery.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, PE licensure and at least five years of bridge design experience, with proficiency in LEAP Bridge, MicroStation and AutoCAD, strong

Professional Engineer Responsibilities

• Perform engineering analysis, design and plan production for structural projects, including transportation-related structures and stormwater/wastewater infrastructure
• Perform engineering analysis, design and plan production for transportation engineering projects, including roadways, highways, drainage, erosion control and traffic control
• Create job specifications and contract documents for bidding purposes
• Calculate quantities and construction cost estimates
• Use experience and skills to provide deliverables as outlined in project scope, within budget and on schedule
• Lead project team in quality control process

Education, Licensing, Certification And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer certification required
• At least 5 years of experience in structural bridge design

Required Skills/Abilities

• Knowledge of structural design software (such as LEAP Bridge), MicroStation and/or AutoCAD
• Working knowledge of design standards, including AASHTO, MUTCD and APWA
• Extensive knowledge of engineering principles and procedures
• Proven leadership skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management
