Job summary

HDR is seeking a Bridge EIT/Coordinator in Saint Louis Park, Minnesota, to apply structural engineering and detailing techniques on highway and railroad bridge projects.

You will perform load calculations, develop geometries, and create details with LEAP Bridge, MIDAS, CSIBridge and other software, while collaborating with an employee-owned team.

Master's in Structural Engineering preferred; EIT required or pursued; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Structural Engineering.
• EIT or willingness to obtain for career progression.
• Experience in bridge/structural design.
• Proficiency with listed bridge/structural software packages.
• Experience with AutoCAD, OpenBridge/Civil3D.
• Strong computer skills for structural layout and design.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Apply bridge design and detailing techniques.
• Work on bridge, box culvert, and interchange design projects.
• Perform load calculations and assist with layout and quantity development.
• Develop structural details using specialized software.
• Assist in bridge inspections and related calculations.
• Other duties as needed.
