Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required.
• Post-graduate experience on bridges with analysis, design and plan development.
• Experience with NYSDOT or other transportation agencies.
• EIT required; PE preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications; experience with design software desirable.
• Strong understanding of AASHTO LRFD specifications.

Responsibilities

• Work on bridge design projects and perform analysis and design for transportation structures.
• Assist with planning, analysis, design, plan preparation, specification development and report writing.
• Support transportation engineering projects to meet goals within time and funding parameters.
• Engage in professional development by participating in technical societies and attending meetings outside normal hours.
