Jacobs in New York seeks a Bridge EIT to join our transportation structural engineering team. You will work on bridge design projects, perform analysis and plan development for highway and rail structures, and assist with reports and specifications.

By joining our team as a Bridge EIT, you’ll partner with an established team of professionals to work on bridge design projects and perform analysis and design for all structural aspects of transportation (highway and rail) projects. We’ll ask you to assist with planning, analysis, design, plan preparation, specification development and report writing. We’ll have you assist on transportation engineering projects to ensure that goals or objectives of these projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. One way you will continue to develop professionally as a structural engineer is when we ask you to be active in technical societies and be available to attend meetings or events outside normal working hours.

The base salary range for this position is $85,000.00 to $110,000.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
