Consor seeks a Bridge Design Lead in Texas (Dallas area) to act as the technical authority for planning, design, analysis, and delivery of complex bridge projects. You will drive innovative, cost-effective solutions while meeting codes, quality standards, and client objectives.

You will oversee all phases, mentor junior staff, and contribute to business development while coordinating with agencies and multidisciplinary teams in a hybrid office/field setting.

Qualifications

• PE license active and in good standing; ability to licensure in other states.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in structural/bridge design, including TxDOT work.
• Experience leading design teams and delivering projects on schedule and budget.

Responsabilités

• Lead the preparation and review of bridge design plans, calculations, specs, and reports.
• Develop innovative, safe, and cost-effective bridge designs meeting codes.
• Coordinate with clients, agencies, and teams to align objectives and schedules.
• Perform structural analyses, load ratings, rehab assessments, and quantities.
• Direct QA/QC with design reviews and coordination checks.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote consistent engineering practices.
• Serve as technical lead for bridge projects, managing scope and risk.
• Support business development through proposals and client interactions.
• Stay current with design methods and infrastructure trends.
