Job summary

Consor in Draper, Utah is seeking an Engineer in Training (EIT) to join our Structural / Bridge Engineering Group. You will design bridges and related structures under the guidance of an experienced transportation engineer, contributing to a diverse project portfolio and client coordination.

This hybrid role blends office and field work in a collaborative environment with strong growth opportunities. Salary ranges from $75,000 to $105,000 per year, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of civil engineering experience with a focus on bridge design.
• Demonstrated experience with bridge design principles and methodologies.
• Knowledge of concrete and steel design.
• Experience required with: Bentley Open Roads Designer (ORD) or other versions of MicroStation; Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
• Beneficial but not required software experience with: Mathcad, Erickson Culvert, BGS, PGSuper, RISA, LEAP Bridge Suite, AutoCAD Civil 3D
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within a reasonable time frame (pass FE exam)

Responsibilities

• Perform structural and bridge analysis and engineering calculations
• Develop structural/bridge plans, specifications, estimates, and supporting documents
• Coordinate with project managers and clients
• Prepare technical reports
• Support preliminary engineering and final design efforts
• Assist in conceptual engineering studies
