Job summary

Consor Engineers in Draper, Utah is seeking an Engineer in Training (EIT) to join our Transportation Planning & Design Group. You will support roadway design, including typical sections, alignments, and cross-sections, while gaining hands-on exposure to a diverse portfolio of projects.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of civil engineering experience, preferably in transportation or roadway design.
• Proficiency with Bentley OpenRoads Designer (ORD), MicroStation, Civil 3D, or AutoCAD (Consor will train candidates without OpenRoads experience).
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification, or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe (FE exam passed or scheduled).

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing typical sections, horizontal & vertical alignments, profiles, layouts, and cross-sections
• Support the design team with preparation of design documentation, plan sets, reports, and quantity calculations
• Monitor design work for compliance with engineering standards, codes, and best practices
• Perform engineering calculations and develop cost estimates
