Job summary

Consor is seeking a bridge engineering designer to provide technical assistance for diligence, investigation, remediation, and construction of bridges and related structures. You will assist with research, design, planning, and construction for load-bearing infrastructure, reporting to the design manager.

The role offers a hybrid work arrangement between office and field environments, with exposure to weather and water based on project requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification.
• Hybrid office/field environment with potential exposure to weather and water.
• Physical duties include sitting, standing, lifting up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support on a variety of bridge projects.
• Bridge inspections, assessment, and rehabilitation design.
• Review shop drawings and provide field technical support for bridge construction.
• Complete quantities and construction cost estimates.
• Report preparation and cost estimating.
