Job summary

Kimley-Horn's Saint Paul office seeks a Bridge Engineer with 4+ years of experience to contribute primarily to bridge design and to support in-service bridge inspections and load-rating analyses across Minnesota.

Ideal candidates will have PE licensure or progress toward it, strong AutoCAD/OpenBridge skills, and hands-on experience with STAAD, RAM, ETABS, and related tools. This role offers growth into expanded responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant engineering design experience.
• P.E. license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Experience with AutoCAD and OpenBridge for drawings.
• Experience with bridge load rating analyses using AASHTOWare BrR.
• Knowledge of STAAD, RAM, ETABS, MathCAD, TEDDS, ADAPT PT.

Responsibilities

• Serve in a technical role on bridge design projects.
• Perform structural analysis, design, and planning on bridges and related structures.
• Develop complete structural drawings and specifications with minimal guidance.
• Train and mentor Engineers-In-Training in structural engineering.
• Lead construction-phase efforts on building projects in structural engineering.
