Job summary

Consor invites applications for an Engineer in Training (EIT) to join our Structural/Bridge Engineering Group in Draper, Utah. The hybrid role offers exposure to highway bridges, pedestrian bridges, culverts, walls and more, under the guidance of an experienced structural engineer.

You will grow your career through hands-on design, calculations, reports, and coordination with project managers, local agencies, and clients, while advancing toward FE exam certification.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of civil engineering experience with a focus on bridge design.
• Knowledge of concrete and steel design.
• Experience with ORD or MicroStation and MS Office suite.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within a reasonable time frame (FE exam).

Responsibilities

• Design structural/bridge elements and perform analyses.
• Develop structural/bridge plans, specifications, estimates, and supporting docs.
• Coordinate with project managers, local governments, and agencies (UDOT).
• Prepare technical reports and assist in final designs.
• Support preliminary engineering and field considerations.
