Job summary

State of Ohio is seeking a Transportation Engineer 1 in District 07 to support bridge and culvert assessment. You will create and maintain bridge inventories, assist with inspections, and develop hydraulic analyses for HMA projects to prioritize corrective work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and EIT eligibility by Ohio Board.
• Proficiency in civil engineering concepts for bridge/culvert work.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain bridge inventory and inspection records.
• Assist with bridge and culvert inspections and hydraulic investigations.
• Develop culvert plans and estimates for projects.
• Identify bridge needs and prioritize corrective activities.
• Prepare preliminary engineering analyses for projects.
