Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of related work experience or approved equivalence.
• Valid motor vehicle operator’s license required.
• Must obtain a Class A CDL within six months of placement.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled manual labor and operate light to heavy equipment for road and bridge maintenance.
• Inspect vehicles and equipment and report issues to supervisor.
• Coordinate placement of traffic control devices and set up work zones as per guidelines.
• Assist in emergency and inclement weather operations.
• May require extended hours or nonstandard shifts.
