Responsibilities & Other

• Act as a technical authority in the constructability of major bridge types such as Cable Stayed, Extradosed, Arch, Bascule, Structural Steel, Precast Segmental, or CIP Box Girder.
• Leverage on-site experience from working with large Heavy Civil contractors on major bridge construction projects.
• Guide project teams and mentor junior estimators.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, owners, contractors, suppliers, and engineers.
• Prepare and review constructability reports for clients.
• Participate in client meetings, addressing technical inquiries and providing solutions.
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Assist in developing and reviewing construction cost estimates.
• Prepare and review CPM construction schedules.
• Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work.
• Analyze bid packages, comparing and evaluating subcontractor and supplier bids.

Preferred Experience:

• 20+ years of experience preferred.
• Proven experience with Heavy Civil contractors on-site on major bridge projects over $100M in management or engineering roles.
• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Experience with HCSS HeavyBid or similar estimating software.
• Knowledge of Primavera P6; Bluebeam Revu and AutoCAD experience are a plus.
• Remote position; willingness to relocate to Duluth, GA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; Master's preferred.
• 10-15 years of professional experience.
• Pre-employment drug screening required; background and motor vehicle checks may be conducted.
