Synopsis:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Subject Matter Expert (SME) to design and

deliver online training for beginner to intermediate learners in Board Support Package (BSP)

Development using Embedded C. The SME will be responsible for developing instructional

content and conducting virtual sessions that simplify complex embedded system concepts for

early-career engineers or students. The ideal candidate has both real-world embedded systems

experience and a proven ability to teach technical subjects in an engaging, accessible way online.

A Day in Your Life:

• Develop and deliver foundational online training modules on BSP and Embedded C for a

beginner-level audience.

• Create engaging instructional materials, including presentations, code samples, hands-on

labs, and quizzes.

• Teach key BSP topics such as system boot-up, startup code, memory layout, peripheral

initialization, and driver basics.

• Demonstrate the use of Embedded C in configuring and programming microcontrollers.
• Use real-world development tools and hardware platforms (e.g., STM32, NXP, TI) for live

demonstrations and labs.

• Provide mentorship through live Q&A sessions, forum participation, and learner feedback.
• Continuously update course materials to reflect the latest tools, best practices, and

feedback from learners.

Qualification / Skills in the spotlight:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in embedded systems programming and BSP basics.
• Strong proficiency in Embedded C, microcontroller programming, and peripheral setup.
• Demonstrated experience teaching or training online through platforms like Zoom,

Teams, Moodle, or LMS.

• Ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly to beginner-level learners.
• Familiarity with IDEs and toolchains like Keil, STM32CubeIDE, or IAR Embedded

Workbench.

• Prior experience creating video-based or MOOC-style technical content.
• Experience with RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS) at an introductory level.
• Instructional design certification is a plus.
• Comfortable using simulation tools or virtual labs for remote demonstrations.
