Job summary

Walbec Group in Tomah, WI is seeking a Carpenter responsible for the assembly and removal of forms used for concrete structures in bridge and dam construction. You will work on footings, abutments, walls, piers, caps, decking, and parapets under the direction of the Foreman.

Candidates should hold a valid driver's license, be punctual, and able to travel to multiple sites; union membership is encouraged; prior bridge or general construction experience preferred, with safety and weather tolerance

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be punctual and dependable.
• Willing to travel to multiple job sites as needed.
• Union membership encouraged; training opportunities available.
• Bridge construction experience preferred; form work experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and remove forms for concrete structures in bridges and dams.
• Form footings, abutments, walls, piers, caps, decking and parapets.
• Follow Foreman instructions and safety procedures.
• Work in varied hours and weather conditions.
• Coordinate with crew and operate hand tools as required.
