Job summary

Zenith Tech Inc., part of the Walbec Group, seeks an experienced Carpenter for road, highway, and bridge construction duties in Southeast and Southwest Wisconsin.

Responsibilities include forming concrete structures for bridges and related components; travel to Milwaukee, Madison, Fort Atkinson, and other sites as needed. Union benefits and on-the-job training are available.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Member of a Local Carpenters Union or willingness to become a union member (union membership is not required prior to employment).
• Prior bridge construction experience and/or construction experience preferred.
• Experience with bridge decking.
• Proficient in building form footings, forming walls, wings, and tying corners using concrete forming systems.
• Punctual, dependable, and able to work varied hours—including nights, early mornings, and weekends—including tolerance for variable weather conditions, and dirty and dusty environments.
