Job summary

Janke General Contractors, Inc. is seeking mid to senior level Carpenters to join crews across Wisconsin, building bridges, dams, boat ramps, roads, and boardwalks. Work Monday through Friday afternoons.

Per diem of $150.00 for locations over 50 miles from residence. Experience required: 3 years. The Carpenter will install formwork and contribute to concrete forming, reading drawings, and maintaining safety on site.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience as a carpenter in construction.
• Proficient in the use of carpentry tools, including hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project specifications.
• Knowledge of carpentry-related regulations and safety procedures.
• Valid driver’s license; certifications for specialized tools or equipment are a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Install formwork according to contract documents.
• Collaborate with construction team to ensure proper sequencing.
• Exhibit competency and efficiency with carpentry tools.
• Ensure carpentry work meets quality and safety standards.
• Install scaffolding, temporary supports, and other safety measures.
