The role covers constructing, erecting, and installing wooden structures for bridges and related works using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery on heavy civil sites.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years verifiable carpentry experience preferred.
• Experience with MEVA, DOKA, and Symons forms preferred.
• Experience using fall protection and climbing formwork and rebar.
• Requires ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffold/ladder.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Requires ability to comply with safety policies and communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Measures distance and marks guidelines on working surface.
• Prepares, builds, and installs wooden structures in line with prefabricated units for bridges, drains, walls, and other structures.
• May assist with installation of awnings and metal decking for concrete slabs.
• Uses carpenter's belt with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
