Job summary

Consor is seeking a Bridge CAD Technician to support municipal and transportation bridge projects in the Dallas area. You will provide drafting expertise, transform conceptual sketches into high-quality CAD drawings, and help prepare plan sets from early concepts through permitting.

You will collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of design documentation, drawing packages, and technical reports.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of bridge CAD experience, preferably in Texas.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil3D, and Microstation.
• Ability to interpret construction plans and redlines and produce CAD drawings.

Responsibilities

• Review construction plans to ensure accuracy and alignment with design standards.
• Transform sketches and markups into fully developed CAD drawings for project use.
• Develop engineering drawings for preliminary and final plan sets with consistency to requirements.
• Coordinate design elements with engineers, designers, and other drafters to resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in preparing technical reports and design documentation.
• Incorporate revisions efficiently to support timelines and quality expectations.
