Thimble Alterations LLC is seeking an experienced bridal seamstress to work closely with brides through the entire alteration process. This is an independent contractor role with bookings provided through our platform.

You will conduct fittings for wedding gowns, tailor various dress alterations, and create bustles tailored to each gown. A strong portfolio or references are welcomed to showcase your work.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated bridal alteration experience with a portfolio or references welcomed.
• Confident with high-value bridal gowns and able to explain options to clients.
• Strong customer-facing presence to reassure brides during fittings.

Responsabilités

• Conduct first, second, and final fittings for wedding gowns with brides.
• Customize gowns: hemming, side seams, bodice shaping, neckline adjustments, sleeve modifications.
• Create bustles tailored to dress and bride preferences.
• Assist with bridesmaid and mother-of-the-bride attire alongside the main gown.
• Explain timelines and process expectations to the bride throughout the alteration journey.
