Thimble Alterations LLC is seeking an experienced bridal seamstress to work one-on-one with brides through the entire alteration process. This is an independent contractor role with bookings provided through our platform.

You will conduct fittings for wedding gowns, customize alterations, create bustles, and assist with bridesmaid and ceremony attire, guiding clients on timelines and expectations while maintaining a calm, professional image.

Qualificações

• Demonstrated bridal alteration experience (portfolio or references welcomed)
• Confidence working with high-value gowns and patience to fit them properly
• Strong customer-facing presence: brides remember the seamstress who calmed their nerves

Responsabilidades

• Conduct first, second, and final fittings with brides for their wedding gowns
• Customize gowns for each bride: hemming, side seams, bodice shaping, neckline adjustments, sleeve modifications
• Create bustles tailored to the dress design and the bride's preference
• Handle bridesmaid dresses, mother-of-the-bride gowns, and ceremony attire alongside the main gown
• Walk brides through what is possible with their dress, timelines, and what to expect on the day
