Job summary

Anheuser-Busch in St. Louis is seeking a university Co-Op for 6 months in 2027 to join the Innovations team.

You will move beer, grind malt, calibrate lab instruments, and report data as part of a hands-on, fast-paced microbrewery environment inside the largest brewery in the country. Open to all STEM majors with a GPA of 2.8+, you will manage an improvement project, present a Beer Science topic, and collaborate with cross-functional teams; you may rotate through shifts, including nights and

Qualifications

• Current university student or recent university graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree and GPA 2.8 or higher.
• Engineering, Science, or Environmental/Safety background preferred but all majors considered.
• Geographical & Functional mobility across the U.S. during the 6-month Co-Op.
• Ability to work alternating shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Must be able to walk elevated catwalks, stand for long periods, and work in extreme temperatures.
• Able to move hoses, open valves, clean tanks, and transfer products.
• Capable of lifting up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist with brewery operations and production routines.
• Lead or participate in an improvement project within the brewery.
• Collaborate with the Innovations team to test processes and new recipes; document data carefully.
• Move beer, grind malt, test new flavors, and report data for the brewery’s operations.
• Operate and calibrate equipment such as flow meters, coolers, tanks, yeast separators, and lab instruments.
• Present project results to senior leadership after the Co-Op.
