Boston Beer Company in San Antonio, Texas is seeking a Brewery Representative to develop new accounts and maintain existing ones. This field-based, full‑time role focuses on expanding product availability and visibility through consultative selling.

You must live in the territory (Bexar County/San Antonio area), have a valid driver's license, and be willing to travel, including weekends. Salary ranges from $48,000 to $63,000, plus a discretionary annual bonus and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Sell the Boston Beer Company portfolio to retail accounts
• Seal product line upgrades in bars, restaurants, and stores
• Identify major accounts and develop plans to onboard them
• Build displays, reset coolers and merchandise for visibility
• Partner with distributors to ensure orders and growth
• Conduct tastings, staff education, and evening promotions
• Travel within market; weekends/holidays may be required
• Occasional meetings and trainings
• Service retailers and wholesalers regularly

What You'll Brew

• Sell our entire Boston Beer Company (BBC) product portfolio
• 100% focus on selling products and/or upgrading number of product lines in retail accounts (bars/restaurants, liquor/grocery stores/convenient stores)
• Identifying major accounts that are not currently selling BBC products, and developing a plan to establish business with such accounts
• Improving conditions and merchandise accounts by building displays, resetting coolers, and displaying point-of-sale items to increase visibility of the brand
• Partnering with distributors to ensure orders are placed, products are received, and business is growing at accounts
• Conducting waitstaff / bartender educations, beer tastings and evening promotions
• Working conditions vary greatly day to day due to customer facing nature of role
• May be the periodic requirement to work weekends and holidays to support the needs of the business
• Occasional travel for meetings and trainings
• Regular travel in the market to service retailers and wholesalers

What Ingredients You’ll Bring

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1+ years of proven results-oriented experience in outside sales or within the food & beverage industry
• An intense competitive spirit with an assertive, confident personality
• Valid driver's license, registered and insured vehicle, and ability to drive to and from accounts continuously
• Ability to lift and move cases of beer frequently
• Ability to climb, kneel, and stoop to arrange and display point-of-sale frequently

• Bachelor's degree

At the Boston Beer Company and in accordance with pay transparency laws, we are open about our salary ranges. For this role, the salary range is between $48,000 and $63,000. However, it’s important to note that where the person hired starts in this range is dependent on their related experience, skillset and location. Additionally, this position qualifies for a discretionary annual bonus based on company and individual performance.
