Job summary

Boston Beer Company in Louisville, KY is hiring a Brewery Representative to manage an account base centered in Louisville with additional Northern Kentucky accounts. This field-based role requires you to live in the territory to visit accounts and drive growth using consultative sales tactics.

The position emphasizes building product visibility, partnering with distributors, educating staff, and occasional weekend/holiday work with regional travel.

Responsibilities

• Sell our full Boston Beer Company portfolio across assigned accounts.
• Develop new accounts and grow existing ones within Louisville and Northern Kentucky.
• Increase product visibility with displays, resets, and POS materials.
• Coordinate with distributors to ensure orders are placed and received.
• Conduct staff education, beer tastings, and promotions; travel within market.

We are currently hiring a full-time,Brewery Representativein Louisville, KY. This representative will oversee an account base predominantly in Louisville with additional accounts in Northern, KY. The ideal candidatemustlive in Louisville, KY. The Brewery Representative works autonomously to focus on developing new accounts and maintaining current accounts within the industry. A high emphasis is placed on increasing the availability and visibility of products in new and existing accounts by using consultative sales tactics. *Please note thatwhile this position is listed as “working remotely”, our sales positions are field based and require you to live within the territory listed to visit accounts, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

What You'll Brew:

• Sell our entire Boston Beer Company (BBC) product portfolio
• 100% focus on selling products and/or upgrading number of product lines in retail accounts (bars/restaurants, liquor/grocery stores/convenient stores)
• Identifying major accounts that are not currently selling BBC products, and developing a plan to establish business with such accounts
• Improving conditions and merchandise accounts by building displays, resetting coolers, and displaying point-of-sale items to increase visibility of the brand
• Partnering with distributors to ensure orders are placed, products are received, and business is growing at accounts
• Conducting waitstaff / bartender educations, beer tastings and evening promotions
• Working conditions vary greatly day to day due to customer facing nature of role
• May be the periodic requirement to work weekends and holidays to support the needs of the business
• Occasional travel for meetings and trainings
• Regular travel in the market to service retailers and wholesalers

• Ability to climb, kneel, and stoop to arrange and display point-of-sale frequently

At the Boston Beer Company and in accordance with pay transparency laws, we are open about our salary ranges. For this role, the salary range is between $48,000 and $63,000. However, it’s important to note that where the person hired starts in this range is dependent on their related experience, skillset and location.Additionally, this position qualifies for a discretionary annual bonus based on company and individual performance.
