Job summary

City Brewery in La Crosse, WI is seeking a Brewing Associate to operate manual and automated equipment in the Brewing Department. You will work safely and efficiently to deliver consistent quality for our customers, collaborating with operations, electro-mechanics and electricians.

The role involves batching ingredients, operating pumps, performing lab tests, and ensuring compliance with FDA regulations, GMP/HAACP guidelines, and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, self-directed team environment.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Experience in food/beverage manufacturing preferred.
• Strong interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manually batch dry and liquid ingredients.
• Operate pumps, valves and sequences.
• Perform basic laboratory testing and data recording.
• Load/unload tanker trucks and complete FDA paperwork.
• Carry out CIP tank and line cleaning.
• Maintain master sanitation and PPE usage.
• Troubleshoot systems and follow GMP/HAACP guidelines.
• Safety-focused with adherence to company policies.
