Job summary

Humm Kombucha is seeking a Production Supervisor for our Sisters, Oregon facility. You will lead daily manufacturing activities across fermentation, packaging, warehouse, quality, and maintenance, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations on the assigned shift.

You will supervise team members, coordinate staffing and workflows, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining alignment with plant goals and company initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or related industrial environment.
• 1–2 years in a supervisory, team lead, or production leadership role.
• Working knowledge of SOPs, production documentation, workplace safety, and quality requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to lead employees, address staffing challenges, and support training and performance development.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work independently while collaborating across departments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee manufacturing operations across Fermentation, Packaging, Warehouse, Quality and Maintenance to support schedules and objectives.
• Own shift start-up, shutdown, cleaning, and CIP processes; ensure activities are completed safely and on schedule.
• Coordinate daily workflow, equipment utilization, and material movement to optimize efficiency.
• Monitor production and quality performance; identify issues and implement solutions within procedures.
• Ensure accurate completion of batch records, production tickets, ERP transactions, and end-of-shift reporting.
• Comply with GMP, PPE, and SOPs; partner with Quality to uphold product quality and standards.
• Provide hands-on leadership, direction, and support across all operations.
• Lead safety meetings, communicate expectations, and promote accountability.
• Address performance and workplace concerns with operations leadership and HR as appropriate.
• Collaborate with departments to implement company initiatives and align priorities.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, workflow, and material handling.
• Communicate risks, updates, and improvements to relevant leaders in a timely manner.
