Job summary

Victory Brewing Company in Kennett Square, PA is seeking a line cook to accurately and efficiently prepare food for assigned stations, following recipes and line builds. You will ensure proper plating, timing, and quality while supporting the team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

We value collaboration, safety, and consistency; minimum two years of prep/line cook experience; ability to multitask, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of prep/line cook experience preferred.
• Knowledge of or ability to learn basic sanitation and workplace safety.
• Knowledge of or ability to learn food handling techniques and cooking procedures.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-paced kitchen.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and maintain personal hygiene.
• Ability to multitask and handle high volume and pressure environments.
• Prolonged standing and exposure to heat, steam, and cold in a kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meal ingredients following a recipe and line builds, as directed by the Executive Chef or manager on duty.
• Lead station setup focusing on proper cooking procedures, plating, flavor, temperature, and ticket time.
• Independently prepare all menu items to order, receiving feedback on line builds and cooking methods.
• Execute meal preparation for quality control, including self-assessment and chef evaluation.
• Oversee post-shift duties like cleaning, stocking, and checkout procedures.
• Label and store food properly, manage time-temperature logs.
• Follow opening and closing duties as outlined in ABV guides.
• Inspect dishes for presentation, accuracy, and quality before sending to expo window.
