Socket.dev is hiring a Packaging Sanitation Technician to clean and maintain beverage packaging machinery to GBP standards. You will join a small team responsible for rapid AM start-up readiness and line setup for the next day.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and clear communication, with opportunities to work independently. The position requires forklift experience, Excel proficiency for production logs, and the ability to operate within a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 21+ years old.
• Forklift operation experience is required.
• Experience in beverage packaging or high-speed food manufacturing is a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel and data entry for production logging.
• Leadership and ability to operate with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Finalize the day’s packaging operations.
• Assemble, disassemble, clean, and sanitize packaging equipment.
• Operate CIP systems for tanks, pipelines, and related equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on product-contact parts.
• Complete sanitation records accurately and on time.
• Maintain clean work areas and equipment surfaces.
• Conduct pre-operation checks before startup.
• Troubleshoot basic operating issues and support improvements.
• Collect samples for Quality Assurance testing.
• Follow SOPs, GMPs, food safety, and quality standards.
• Report food safety or quality concerns immediately.
• Set up the Packaging Line for the next day’s operations.
