Job summary

City Brewing Company is seeking a Packaging Electrical Mechanical Technician to keep high-speed packaging lines running safely and efficiently. This role maintains packaging equipment, troubleshoots and replaces parts under the supervision of the Packaging Maintenance Manager, ensuring minimal downtime and performing diverse mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; CMMS experience preferred.
• 2 years of experience as a machinist or completion of a technical degree/vocational training program strongly preferred.
• Must be able to work in varying temperatures and climates.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints; welding with Stick, TIG and MIG.
• Knowledge of safety policies and procedures (lock out/tag out, confined space).

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, timing, troubleshooting, and replacement of mechanical/electrical equipment.
• Work to reduce unplanned downtime through effective troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment.
• Disassemble/reassemble machinery, overhauling gearboxes, pumps and motors, replacing bearings, bushings, etc.
• Complete assigned work efficiently per SOPs.
• Work in a team or autonomously to complete work orders and provide mechanical/electrical support.
• Assist with root-cause analysis and implementation of improvements.
• Analyze process data and make decisions on equipment maintenance and improvement activities.
• Support machining, tooling and fabrication needs for the plant.
