Job summary

City Brewery is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to maintain packaging equipment and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components in a fast-paced beverage environment. You will perform setup, adjustments, and repairs under the Packaging Maintenance Manager while following NFPA70E, OSHA, and plant safety procedures.

The role requires reading blueprints, welding capabilities, and experience with CMMS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of experience as a machinist or completion of a technical degree/vocational training preferred.
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints.
• Welding experience with Stick, TIG and MIG.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CMMS familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Perform setup, adjustment, timing, troubleshooting, and replacement of mechanical/electrical equipment.
• Adhere to NFPA70E, OSHA, EPA, FDA, Lock Out/Tag Out policies and safety rules.
• Reduce downtime through effective troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Complete work per SOPs and communicate findings with team.
• Support machining, tooling and fabrication needs for the plant.
