JOB DESCRIPTION – Brewery Packaging Sanitation Technician

Position Details

• Department: Packaging
• Reports to: Packaging Manager
• FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-exempt

Position Summary

The Packaging Sanitation Technician will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the beverage packaging machinery with a goal to meet Good Brewing Practice (GBP's) standards. A successful candidate will be part of a small team that maintains equipment needed for efficient and reliable beverage packaging operations, as well as setting up the beverage packaging line for a rapid AM start up the following day. Must be quality conscious, operate safely and have good communication skills with a potential to operate independently.

Shift

• Shift "A" will be Sunday to Wednesday
• Shift "B" will run Wednesday to Saturday
• This is a 10 hr. shift that typically runs 12:00 noon 10:00pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership: Proven ability to coach others, give constructive feedback, ability to operate without direct supervision.
• Licensing: Forklift operation experience is required.
• Software: Proficiency in Excel and data entry for production logging.

Physical & Environmental Demands

• Active Production: Ability to stand, crouch, and move within a loud, fast-paced manufacturing environment for extended periods.
• Strength: Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs (maneuvering kegs) and perform repetitive movements.
• Conditions: Comfort working around water, steam, and cleaning chemicals in varying temperatures.
