Job summary

New Belgium Brewing Company is seeking a skilled maintenance technician for second shift (3pm-11pm, Monday–Friday). The role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical systems across the brewery, with emphasis on safety and reliability.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of related experience, strong mechanical and electrical skills, and the ability to mentor others.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of related experience or equivalent training.
• Ability to train and mentor less experienced technicians.
• On-call mechanical program participation.
• Developed mechanical knowledge and abilities.
• Knowledge of brewing and production processes.
• Familiarity with chemical handling and safety.
• Experience reading P&IDs and construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on equipment as assigned.
• Lead efforts to maintain equipment and identify critical spare parts.
• Lock out/tag out procedures for safety on all brewery equipment.
• Coordinate downtime for maintenance activities and communicate with operations.
• Assist in developing annual maintenance budgets for areas.
• Develop maintenance requirements and training checklists.
• Other duties as assigned by supervision.
