New Belgium Brewing in Daleville, VA seeks a Working Supervisor to lead a skilled maintenance team across brewery systems. You will supervise, plan, and coach staff to maintain and repair equipment, ensuring safety and reliability in all plant areas.

Ideal candidates have extensive mechanical knowledge, brewing process familiarity, and experience in scheduling outages and managing budgets. This on-site role includes travel and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 8+ years of related experience.
• Proven ability to lead and direct the work of others.
• Expert mechanical knowledge and abilities.
• Expert knowledge of brewing and production processes.
• Expert knowledge of chemical handling.
• Experience scheduling maintenance outages.
• Proficient with electrical, refrigeration, plumbing, welding.
• Experience with lathes, drill press, and other mechanical tools.
• Understanding of sanitary engineering concepts.
• Ability to read and interpret P&ID and construction drawings.
• Confined space, LOTO, OSHA training/certifications.

Responsabilités

• Direct supervision of a team; manage performance and training.
• Assist with development of annual budgets.
• Schedule major rebuilds and downtime with cross-department teams.
• Perform maintenance on equipment and identify spare parts.
• Develop maintenance requirements and training checklists.
• Enforce safety and operational policies; manage lockout procedures.
• Participate in on-call mechanical program.
• Other duties as assigned.
