Job summary

New Belgium Brewing is looking for an experienced engineer to plan and oversee the design, construction, maintenance, and optimization of the facility’s infrastructure and equipment across Brewery Design, Packaging Engineering, and Utility Systems.

Responsibilities include PLC/HMI control development, project management, and process improvements to boost reliability and efficiency. Travel up to 25% may be required, with a strong emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering and 7+ years of experience in industry.
Experience delivering engineering projects with P&ID development and FAT.
Strong knowledge of brewery process equipment and facility requirements.

Responsibilities

Assist in designing and testing new processes or equipment to boost productivity or reduce costs.
Develop and modify engineering specifications and communicate results.
Provide technical support and resolve engineering issues in production.
Coordinate with internal teams and contractors on PLC/HMI logic and control panels.
Support project schedules, budgets, and capital procurement within constraints.
Ensure safety targets and regulatory compliance are met.
