Job summary

Stone Brewing in San Diego is seeking a hands-on Line Cook to join a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen. You’ll prepare and plate meats, seafood, vegetables and other items, following recipes and plating standards to ensure consistency and quality.

You’ll work with kitchen and front-of-house teams, assist with events, rotate inventory, and maintain clean, sanitary workstations. 2–3+ years in a high-volume kitchen, a San Diego County Food Handler Card, and ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2–3+ years of experience in a high-volume kitchen.
• San Diego County Food Handler Card (or ability to obtain one).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other menu items using grills, broilers, ovens, fryers, and other equipment.
• Follow recipes and plating standards to ensure consistency and quality.
• Expedite orders and communicate clearly with the kitchen and FOH teams.
• Assist with events and special menus as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary workstations.
• Rotate inventory and ensure proper food storage and freshness.
