Saint Arnold Brewing Company in Texas is seeking an enthusiastic Brewer I to operate the brewhouse and cellar equipment and help produce world-class beers. You will follow SOPs, monitor quality, and participate in all stages from milling to fermentation and filtration.

This entry-level role emphasizes learning production processes, teamwork, safety, and data collection. Physical ability to lift 55 lb bags and operate a forklift after training, with rotating shifts including occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Passion for beer and interest in brewing processes.
• Prior brewing experience (home or commercial).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; brewing diplomas also considered.
• Be detail oriented and a strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Execute complete brewing process from milling to fermentation and filtration while maintaining quality standards.
• Follow SOPs and safety protocols; escalate issues as needed.
• Perform CIP of vessels, tanks, lines, fermenters, centrifuge, filter.
• Assemble/disassemble process lines and loops; prepare and use chemicals safely.
• Manage cellar including yeast pitching, daily fermentation tracking, dry-hopping and additions.
• Collect and evaluate data for brewing metrics and complete checklists.
• Work rotating shifts (morning, afternoon, overnight) and Saturday shifts.
