BrewDog PLC in Virginia is seeking a Brewer I to join our brewery team. You’ll work alongside experienced brewers to learn the craft, support daily production, and help produce high‑quality beer customers know and love.

This entry‑level role offers hands‑on exposure to brewing operations, a fast-paced team environment, and opportunities to grow into advanced brewer roles. You’ll need physical stamina, safety focus, and a passion for craft beer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous manufacturing, food production, brewing, or warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• Passion for craft beer and brewing operations.
• Ability to learn new processes and follow detailed procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to work safely around production equipment and chemicals.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, HACCP requirements, and GMP standards.
• Assist with brewing, cellar, filtration, packaging, and cleaning operations as directed.
• Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks to maintain brewery hygiene and quality standards.
• Support daily production schedules and complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently.
• Conduct routine inspections and report any issues, equipment concerns, or quality deviations.
• Accurately complete production records, logs, and documentation.
• Collect samples and assist with quality assurance processes.
• Learn the operation of brewing and production equipment through hands-on training.
• Safely handle raw materials, chemicals, and finished products according to established procedures.
• Support inventory movements and material preparation as needed.
• Work collaboratively with fellow team members to achieve production goals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training opportunities.
• Demonstrate reliability, accountability, and a positive attitude each day.
