Job summary

Beaver Run Resort & Conference Center in Breckenridge, CO, is seeking a line cook to produce high-volume, quality dishes in a fast-paced mountain resort setting.

You will prep, cook, and season all items, read tickets, and ensure adherence to recipe specifications and timing standards. Full- and part-time roles with benefits are available, including housing on a first-come, first-served basis where applicable.

Qualifications

• Line cook experience preferred
• Must speak and read English

Responsibilities

• Must be proficient in working all areas of the kitchen line.
• Safe efficient production of food products including quality and quantity control, par levels, food storage, and product rotation, cutting, slicing, sauté, frying, mixing, grilling, mixing, etc.
• Preps, cooks and seasons all food items in an accurate and timely manner.
• Controls food production to include: proper cooking methods, cooking time and temperature, insuring sanitation, handling and storage of prepared foods
• Maintains standards of sanitation, kitchen and personal hygiene and cleanliness, as well as food service techniques and safety all with regard to the safe handling of food products for guest’s consumption; Serve Safe Certification practices.
• Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and monitoring the rotation of stock (FIFO).
• Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
• Follows Standard Operational Procedures (SOP's) and production list to meet required par levels and specifications for assigned station or duties
