Arkansas Valley Adventures is seeking a dependable driver to join our team in the United States. The role involves transporting guests safely and efficiently, with a focus on communication and time management.

We provide a 2-week intensive driving course for new hires to ensure success in the position. Applicants must be 21+, hold a clean driving record, and be able to lift 50 lbs as part of the job requirements.

Qualifications

• Drivers must possess a valid driver’s license with no traffic violations in the last 3 years.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Pass a DOT Physical Exam which will be reimbursed after the season.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections.
• Map routes prior to departure.
• Maintain contact with dispatchers.
• Keep a record of duty logs.

Responsibilities

• Be punctual and have exceptional time management skills
• Perform pre-trip inspection of your vehicle
• Read and understand your trip manifests
• Map out your routes prior to departure
• Be comfortable finding the pick-up points of guests
• Maintain contact with dispatchers and communicate if you have fallen behind schedule
• Report traffic concerns you witness for our other drivers
• Return vehicles to home office promptly after final guest stop
• Thoroughly clean inside and out and return keys and manifest to office
• Participate in transfer drives where they will assist a DIA driver with their pick-ups
• Maintain a record of duty log that will live in the home office

Requirements

• Drivers must possess a valid driver’s license and have no traffic violations on their Motor Vehicle Record within the last 3 years
• At least 21 years of age
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Must be able to pass a DOT (Department of Transportation) Physical Exam – you will be reimbursed upon the completion of the season.
• We provide a 2-week intensive driving course to help you be successful in the position.
• Although previous experience with mountain driving is not required, an understanding and willingness to drive in winter driving conditions is necessary.
