Qualifikationen

• Must have breastfed at least one baby.
• Knowledge of basic breastfeeding practices and common concerns.
• Ability to provide respectful mom-to-mom support and protect confidentiality.
• Ability to learn and use FL-WiSE, EARS/HMS, and MS Office.
• Ability to organize caseload, prioritize follow-up, and travel between locations.

Aufgaben

• Counsels participants on breastfeeding in clinic, by phone, or virtually.
• Maintains caseload and documents contacts and outcomes.
• Promotes breastfeeding classes and support groups and coordinates outreach.
• Coordinates referrals and communicates with designated health professionals.
• Attends training, meetings, and quality improvement activities.
• Performs travel between clinic, hospital, and community locations as required.
