Job summary

Houston Methodist Hospital (HMH) seeks an accomplished Breast Surgeon and academic leader to serve as Section Chief of Breast Surgery and Medical Director of the Breast Program at HMNCC. Based at HMH, you will lead a system-wide academic breast surgery program with multidisciplinary collaboration across radiology, pathology, reconstructive surgery, and oncology.

Qualifications

• Significant surgical leadership and administrative experience.
• Fellowship in breast surgery and/or complex general surgical oncology preferred; ABOS certification preferred.
• Highly experienced breast surgeons without formal fellowship will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical, strategic, and academic leadership for the breast program.
• Lead development, quality improvement, and multidisciplinary care initiatives.
• Teach general surgery residents and medical students; develop breast surgery curriculum and conferences.
• Participate in breast tumor boards and coordinate education and research activities.
