Job summary

Penn Medicine Princeton Health is seeking a Medical Director of Breast Surgery to lead the breast program across the Cancer Center. This role combines clinical leadership with strategic growth and accreditation oversight, collaborating with the Abramson Cancer Center and hospital leadership.

The position emphasizes multidisciplinary care, quality improvement, and continued program development, including outreach and education to enhance breast cancer services regionally.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine.
  • Completion of an accredited General Surgery Residency or OB/GYN Residency.
  • Completion of an accredited Breast Surgical Oncology or Surgical Oncology Fellowship.
  • Board Certified in applicable specialty.
  • Possession of, or eligibility to obtain, an unrestricted New Jersey Medical License.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the management and surgical treatment of breast disease.

Responsibilities

  • Lead breast program strategy, planning, growth, and service development initiatives.
  • Chair and participate in multidisciplinary Breast Conferences and Tumor Board activities.
  • Provide physician leadership for the Breast Program and coordinate accreditation activities.
  • Drive program growth, quality improvement, and regional expansion of breast services.
  • Lead recruitment, mentorship, and development of the breast care team.
  • Support community outreach, education, and program visibility.
