Job summary

Beebe Medical Center seeks a Breast Center Advanced Practice Provider to deliver direct patient care within established protocols. You will order imaging, discuss risk reduction, and manage high-risk patients, including those with a history of breast cancer, with referrals to medical oncology when needed.

Responsibilities include coordinating genetic testing, post-operative assessments, and the management of benign breast disease and lymphedema.

Qualifications

• Must hold current license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Delaware.
• National board certification required.
• Prescriptive authority as issued by the Delaware Board of Nursing.
• Must have DEA license or be eligible to apply for DEA number and license.
• Must have a valid BLS and ACLS card upon hire.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care as the breast center advanced practice provider.
• Order imaging based on NCCN guidelines.
• Discuss risk reduction strategies with patients and families.
• Manage high-risk patients and history of breast cancer, including referrals to medical oncology when needed.
• Order genetic testing and interpret imaging results; coordinate post-op assessments and potential complications.
• Coordinate referrals to physical therapy and other services; document care thoroughly.
