Job summary

St. Joseph's/Candler's Telfair Breast Surgery program seeks an NP/PA to support high‑risk breast cancer patients under surgical oncology supervision.

This role builds on general NP/PA training with a specialty in breast diseases, managing treatment plans, pre‑ and post‑surgical follow‑up, and coordinating diagnostic workups. You will bill for services, maintain licensure, participate in quality and revenue‑cycle initiatives, and engage in ongoing professional development through continuing

Qualifications

• Master's in Nursing required.
• 1-2 years breast surgical services experience preferred.
• State professional license required.
• Advanced Practice RN or PA license required.
• BLS required.
• ONS Advanced Oncology Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage high-risk breast cancer patients under supervision of surgical oncologists.
• Order diagnostic tests and procedures; design care plans and surveillance milestones.
• Coordinate communication of plan and follow-up with patients and physicians.
• Attend continuing education to maintain oncology competencies.
• Ensure compliance with prescription and device guidelines.
